- Refers to the process of dynamic changes occurring during the lifespan of an individual.

DIFFERENCES BETWEEN GROWTH AND DEVELOPMENT
- Growth refers to the physical changes of an individual. Whereas, Development refers to the all-round development of a person.
- The scope of Growth is limited. Whereas, the scope of Development is wider.

- Growth stops once maturity has been attained. Whereas, Development is a continuous process.
